    Please use your PCC login information to apply for scholarships by clicking on the 申请奖学金按钮.  Once you’ve logged in, you’ll first fill out a general 奖学金申请.  Then you’ll get to look at Opportunities that are more specific.  For instance, if you meet the qualifications, you might want to apply for:

    数学优秀奖

    这 奖 is a certificate in recognition of those students earning an A grade 第一次尝试时 in each of our upper division math courses, Math 5A, 5B, 5C, Math 10 和 Math 55.  The 荣誉 in Mathematics is a monetary 奖.

    Note: Students matriculating into PCC at the Math 5B level are also eligible for the 奖.  Students currently enrolled in Math 10 or 55 this spring semester will receive their 奖 after successfully completing those courses with an A grade.

    Edna Plummer was a former mathematics professor at P.C.C.  她的目的是使 an annual 奖 to an outst和ing student in the 数学部门 at P.C.C.  这 该奖学金于1965年首次颁发.  The Edna Plummer Award is a monetary 奖.  Students are nominated by faculty for this 奖.

    Outst和ing Achievement in AMATYC Contest

    The American Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) national contest consists of two one-hour exams; one given in the fall 和 one given in the spring.

    William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition

    这 contest, widely considered to be the most prestigious university-level mathematics competition in the world, takes place in two three-hour sittings on a Saturday, where 学生尝试解决12个问题.

    PCC斯沃马顿队

    NASA Swarmathon is a national autonomous robotics competition held by the University 在新墨西哥州，由美国宇航局资助.  Teams are tasked with devising an algorithm for a robot to pick up as many cubes as possible in a 30 minute timespan in a limited area.
